dropbox backup file name

Is it possible to be able to name the backup file? i keep an annual backup of my time master data. I would like to name them TM2000, TM2001 etc.  what i do now is change my ipads name and backup.

We have a specific format for the file name that includes the internal "date" format.  For example, "My iPhone_462553613.rsd".  TM gets the "name" from your device for the part before the number.  Do not delete the underscore and number.  If you have specific backups that you want to keep track of like that, the best thing to do is log into Dropbox via their website or the plug-in on, if installed on your computer.  Change the first part before the underline (_) to whatever you want.  e.g TM2017_462553613.rsd and that will only show TM2017 on your device.

I now realized why changing the name in dropbox didn't work.  I was deleting the whole file name.
