Time Master reports generating only 1st week's activity
« on: October 07, 2013, 03:58:15 pm »
Using TM 5.8.2 with iPhone 5 using iOS 7.0.2.  I'm finding now that regardless of length of start and end dates for report, TM is giving me activity only for the first week.  So while reporting for one week is accurate, setting report dates for the whole month (or two weeks) gives me only activity for week 1.  I've tried this for several of the months and also a year to date; same problem.  Never had this problem before update to iOS 7, but did not try to do more than a week between that update and when you updated TM to enable it to make use of iOS 7 more fully.

There does not appear to be any issues with the Report as far as I can tell.  I generated a years worth with no issues.  The only thing I can suspect is that you have a Filter set that is limited what you are seeing.  Try setting all the Filters to "Optional" and the other types to "Any" and generate a report.  Also make sure your Start Date and End Date are set to a wide range (e.g. start at Jan 1st).

I've done that and it still only gives me the first week.  However, I now see at the bottom a weekly range is displayed and if I swipe I can get the next week, and so on, through the range I specified.  And when I export, I get separate pages for each of the weeks in the range.  But I cannot seem to get a summary of that larger range as I could before I upgraded.  I bill monthly and it's less convenient to have to add up each week separately for each client and activity.  Has the full date range summary been removed or am I missing some switch somewhere?

It sounds like you are doing "Time Sheets".  Yes that is the way they have always worked.  Each page is one week.  The total (last column) is only for the week.  If you need to total everything using the Time Sheet format, you will have to export as a CSV and open in spreadsheet program such as Excel or Numbers or you can run a regular "Time & Expenses" report for totals by setting the report "Type" back to Time & Expenses.
