Currently on iOS if you receive an eMail with a xyz.asc file attached the native Apple Mail App tries to open it but for sure fails. To open it with SecuMail instead you have to long-tap the attachment and then choose the app. Would be awesome if those attachments would be opened with SecuMail automatically!

Unfortunately we have no control over the Mail.app, and the behavior you describe is just how Apple implemented it. Ideally, we would love to integrate directly with the Mail.app, but that's not possible at this time.
