Performing One Way Sync of time Entries causes error
« on: December 16, 2011, 12:23:29 pm »
On Receiving Device: Time entires come across fine; however, expenses do not. Receiving Device window pops with  Error Could noooooot update record.

Performed reboot, soft reset of both devices. Same issue. Performed restore of DB from dropbox from date of last sync (no issues on that sync). Same error occurs.

Is there a DB integ tool / cleanup that can be run? Any other suggesions?

Great Product. Love it.

Yes, there is an issue currently with the one-way sync on the current version.  We just came across this about a week ago.  The one-way sync is very complex due to it only going one way.  Unfortunately it's a bit too complex to describe here and won't fix the problem.  This has been fixed in the next version, but it's going to be a little bit of time before we can get the new version ready to submit to the app store (and the app store is going to be closed for just over a week).

If you want, please send us the database (Backup) files from both devices and we can fix the issue and send them back to you.  Please contact us at support @ on-core.com, so we can help you!

Hi Adam,
First Thank You for the offer to fix the databases. After a 2 minute discussion we decided it was easier for us to simply key the expenses into my ipad the next morning so you could stay focused on development efforts.

We felt we could wait for the fix.... and....

WOW! what a fix! love the new GUI, LOVE THE STATEMENTS!!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN almost 20 years of professional effort.

Proof: Just signed a multi year contract as a CIO for a NASA supplier (1/2 week per week). On Friday next, the IT group meets my people and they (IT) are getting Ipads. The FIRST app to be installed is yours. I will be using it to track task hours, efforts, and all my billing..

TRULY OUTSTANDING PRODUCT AND SUPPORT!!!!!! Time for the big boys to make room at the table for on-core.
