Projects displaying Y in tax column
« on: June 27, 2011, 04:42:58 am »
I am new to timemaster so am learning the ropes. Have had a good look at the manual and forums but can't see reason for my issue... I have created time entries using projects and tasks.  I haven't ticked the taxable option for any of the entries in the time entries editor. When I create the invoice, the Tax column shows a Y for the projects but is blank for the tasks.  The total tax at the bottom of the invoice is zero. Why are the projects showing as taxable?

The Taxable (T) column only applies once per line item on the invoice (A Time Entry/Expense or if you're collapsing by Project/Task or Project/Expenditure, once per one of those items). If you have verified that your Time Entries do not have the Taxable flag set, please contact us through our support email, as we would need to look at some of the data and your settings to determine what's exactly going on.

Regards,
Ernesto.

We've identified this to be a bug in version 4.3, when collapsing Time Entries or Expenses and none of them are flagged as Taxable.
A fix for this issue will be included in version 4.4.

As a temporary workaround until version 4.4 is available, the Taxable column on the invoices can be disabled from the Company's Export Settings.

Thank you Kaye for reporting this issue.
Ernesto.
