I have enabled an alert for timers that are still running. It worked fine for 1/2 a day but now it doesn't matter what interval I have it on I don't hear anything. I have tried switching on/off and closed all other apps but still no joy?
Just a couple of things to check/know:
1) Audible notifications only play when the application is in the background or the device is locked/sleeping.
2) Make sure you're running a timer. Audible notifications are only installed if there is at least one timer running.
3) Ensure your volume is loud enough to hear the notification ping.
4) Depending on what your device is doing (ie: checking email in the background), the notification sound might be delayed a few seconds (up to 30 seconds).
5) Be aware that if your device is paired with a bluetooth headset/handsfree device, the audio will play on that device.
