I know this was possible before, but I cannot find where to set the Invoicing Date (seems to now default to the last day of the month).  I went in and edited each of the invoices, but I believe it could be set prior to autoinvoicing.  It is often likely that a week or more will pass before all expenses are in and accounted, thus delaying the invoice date to some date in the next month.  We cannot invoice on April 18, 2011 with a date of March 31, 2011 for March time & bllling.  I can, of course, rename the DATE field label to PERIOD ENDING which might suffice, but it would be better if we could control the invoice date from setup where we also set the next Invoice Number (as before, perhaps???).

I apologize if this was never a feature, but my senior moments are lasting longer these days...

Thanks in advance -
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

First off, sorry about the late response.  Somehow my browser did not show me your "new" message.

That is correct that the Invoice date will be set to the End date that you set while creating the invoices.  You can manually change the date.  Go to Modules -> Invoicing -> Invoices -> Manage Invoices -> (select the invoice you want to modify) -> Date.  Tap on the very top row that says "Date" and change it to what you want.  Then tap on "Save".  The invoice date on the invoice will print that date.
