Hi Lucky.
- We're definitely interested in adding support for signing, but we really wanted to get a solution to encrypt/decrypt and manage keys first. Signing is definitely in our radar.
- The app can decrypt and display attached files of certain supported formats right now, namely: Word (.doc), Excel (.xls), Powerpoint (.ppt), PDF (.pdf), Rich Text File (.rtf), and certain image formats (.png, .jpg, .gif). Just make sure to keep the file extension intact. For example a Word document would be named something like "document.doc.pgp" or "document.doc.asc". Once decrypted, you can use the action menu to print the files (if AirPrint is available or supported on your device) or open them in other apps (such as PDF files on the iBooks app, or an Excel spreadsheet in Numbers).
The app does not encrypt files at this time though. That's something else we have on our wish-list.
- What it matches is strictly dependent on the keyserver implementation. An email search should also match on name, provided that the key contains both the name and email address.
- You can import your secret keys from an attachment or if you have them in the device's clipboard, from the clipboard. Do you have other suggestions?
- We'll probably add Spanish soon. Do you have other language preferences?
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Ernesto.
