Invoicing a flat fee to an hourly client

How do I get the Invoice module to exclude the time entries in order to invoice an hourly client with a flat fee?  In this case my client asked for a single fee for a job, but the client is set up as an hourly rate client.  Each time I try to set up an invoice the system wants to include unbilled time entries for other work but I can't see how to stop that but still retain those time entries for another invoice later.

In that situation, you will have to do the invoice 'Manually'.  Go into Manage Invoices, select your invoice in the the first section, go into the Time Entries and/or Expenses.  Then manually select the items you want in that invoice.
