Hidden projects still show up in filters on time entries page

Hi. I've been using Time Master for quite a few years now. That's a lot of client projects under the bridge. I've taken advantage of the capacity to set those no longer in use to "hidden", so they no longer show up among the options I have to scroll through when I add a new time entry.
But they do still show up in the filters on the main time entry page. For instance, when I choose "this month" on the left, and want to select a project on the right menu. A new reporting requirement from one of my ongoing clients has me needing to check about 20 projects at the end of every month. So I have really noticed that I'm having to scroll through ALL of the old projects I marked as hidden.
Is there any reason that hidden projects and clients need to show up in this context?

Sorry for the delay on getting to this.  Since we do not Hide Time and/or Expense entries, the filters are still valid.  We only Hide from Picker Lists (e.g. Clients, Projects, Tasks, etc) when are inside of an entry.  We do not hide any existing entries on their main pages.  If you ever need to look for an old entry, say for a given Client, you may want to filter and only show those entries.
