Editing the invoice template
« on: November 10, 2010, 04:23:27 pm »
Is there I way to edit the invoice template to include my logo image and display some editable text, such as business address and registered company number? It is a legal requirement for UK Ltd companies to display their company number on their invoices. I could do this by creating an image with all this info on it but it would be easier to have an editable area at the top for address and one at the foot for company number etc.

The best (only) way to do this is to create a nice graphic header.  You can put everything you need in there.  Logo, company name, address, phone, tax id #, etc.  Anything you want.  Please see the thread on this: http://on-core.com/forums/index.php/topic,31.0.html

You could also put information in the bottom box by creating a "Terms" item.  Add that Term to each client so that it will automatically pull the text into the invoice when it is created.

Thanks for that, it helps a lot. Getting used to using the software now and it is very good I must say. Sorry for not posting in the correct place, I'm a newbe though. Can't wait for the new Time Master graphic. ( I have voted) The current one actually put me off purchasing for a while. :-)
