Session notes and invoice annotation
« on: April 21, 2010, 03:37:14 pm »
Session notes for time entries did not appear on the invoice. Is there a setting I am missing to get session notes to appear on the invoice or to be mirrored in the reference or task note areas?

All the Session information is for your own purposes only.  The session notes should not (cannot) be used on an invoice.  You must put any notes, to relay to the client, in the "Reference" notes section in the main Time Entry screen.

How do I get reference notes to appear on an invoice? I need to put unique details in for each time entry on my billing invoices. Thanks

Normally all the fields are ON by default.  If you are not seeing them, then you may have turned it Off.  Go to Setup -> Invoicing -> Description Fields -> Reference/Purpose and make sure that it is ON.
